forced my ducks to get out of disarray on saturday so i got my ass to the gym, hit arms and was actually just going to cycle there for cardio but i couldnt figure out how the bike worked and i thought about how it was supposed to rain on sunday so i went home laced up and just did my delegated 7km long run. a short easy run for many folks but it's many many steps for me!

if i was going to do all that i should've woke up earlier because i ended up getting home around noon and had yet to have breakfast! save for a pre-run orange which made me feel kinda sick erm. regardless i had defrosted some of the bacon tyler left me and had an all american breakfast kinda... cue a few hours of sitting until i had to pull myself together to go to KFC!!!! but not gonna lie everyone i was very close to just getting it delivered...and tbh i was kinda thinking i was being a good sport by ordering in person and i was economically but they ended up having self-check out machines HAHA. but with swiftness the bucket full of legs and biscuits and fries was stuffed into my bag and i went on my merry way to the erik's!

christmas potluck was good fun! i arrived with rowan who brought a kale salad, erik made mac n cheese, lisa brought fried rice, and there was an assortment of other bought foods from costco particularly which is very reminiscent of last year's kanazawa christmas HAHA... i met a new municipal ALT named trey and the old PA jesse who was the one that sent me my acceptance letter! we ate all the delicious feud and played some jackbox and caught up and all :)

it wasn't even raining on sunday... but i didn't feel like biking to the station again so i took the bus to get to hamamatsu to meet those folks again and get some productivity on! which looked different for all of us... i tried to read some more html/css stuff, rowan simultaneously worked on some models while sorting out christmas travel plans with erik and lisa, while jesse applied to work with XG hehe..we chilled at that food court i once went to with tyler and ashley before we got real food at a teppanyaki place!! the world of takoyaki and okonomiyaki is so big. i'm not huge on octopus but lisa got this shrimp cheese one and it was so good.. fried dough ball...perhaps i will try the shop near the station.
