i ran out of english muffins yesterday, so no salty component to my breakfast… overnight oats have been my weekday go-to for like this whole year. it’s so easy and filling, but i’m nothing without the salty carbs to precede the sweetness first… i mean i survived… and honestly it does me a favour to have less in my system for when i have to bike up the hill from hell before work. but a little discomfort bordering on nausea is a perfectly fine price to pay for buttered toast

    Ange’s overnight oats (usually made at like 10pm and eaten at 7am)
  1. 60g rolled oats
  2. 1 serving myprotein cereal milk protein powder which they’ve discontinued so just use whatever I guess. Like what does it matter anymore
  3. 120ml almond milk
  4. ~50g of frozen fruit
  5. pinch of salt
  6. mix it, wrap it up and enjoy in a few hours!!!

it took me so long to figure out why i hated overnight oats so much before and it was just the very common addition of chia seeds that always threw me off! I can’t do the booger texture..

omfg... i got all ready to go to bjj today but there wasn't a soul on the mats!!! not even a teacher in sight... i guess that goes to show i ought to go to more than just the womens' classes TT i'm not particularly scared of fighting guys, it fr was more that a bigger class size scared me-- i felt so bad about not understanding the japanese much less any portuguese that the idea of bothering any more people really held me back... it's taken some time but i've more or less come to terms with that i'll just have no choice but to take up that space and bother people anyway because i want to learn the sport and i'm paying that pretty price of a membership too :/ like man I was kinda looking forward to going today! Oh well. I guess I'll go on a freaking run

it's so hard to run in the cold man... I guess it's better than running in 30 degrees though. Simple enough 3k ✅ admittedly feel a bit down over getting no bjj in but it's not going anywhere! have to tell myself that😞
